NFL Now is an official app of the National Football League and is designed to deliver all the latest video news of your favorite NFL team right to your iPhone or iPad. It features a ton of exclusive content that you simply won’t find anywhere else online, and is a constant stream of excellent content for those football fans that simply can’t handle the excruciating week-long wait between game days. You can customize the app to deliver the information you want: select your favorite team or teams and only see related video content, or sign in with your Fantasy Team and received the latest video news about your fantasy players – a great way to work out whether you should start or sit those particular players. But the NFL Now app is a lot deeper than that, and gives you unlimited access to your favorite NFL Films in a huge archive of video content.

What particular features can you look forward to when using the NFL Now app? Well, there are hundreds of new videos daily, which means you should have plenty of news to check out. That’s if you are a neutral football fan, of course. For those who are only concerned with the team they support, this will only amount to about half an hour of new content at most, which is great to absorb on your morning break at work, for example. As mentioned above, this stream of content can be personalized in line with your preferences. The app also boasts the deepest NFL video archive in existence, giving you access to a variety of older content. Finally, if you would prefer the big screen to the smaller one, you can use airplay from your iOS device, whether that be iPad or iPhone, to stream these videos on your Apple TV with ease.

Of course, not all of this content is simply handed to you when downloading this free iPhone and iPad app from the iTunes Store. Though, NFL Now does offer a range of subscription prices for access to NFL Now premium features. A monthly subscription costs around $1.99 a month, which isn’t too bad, but that doesn’t include access to the NFL Films archives or Live Streams of the NFL RedZone and NFL Network. For that, you must get an NFL Now Plus subscription. This also gives you access to premium game highlights featuring hundres of real-time in-game highlights. Ultimately, this is an excellent app for those NFL fans that wish to bring video content to their mobile device or tablet and would rather watch video news that read the sports pages. Still, the charge remains quite hefty for the content you are essentially receiving, and there’s simply no hiding from the annoying ads that appear between every video.
